Backpack with integrated calendar

little piece of calendarYeah, I'm almost back. But this is news I really have to share. I just got word through an email from a dutch weblog that Backpack has (finally) integrated a calendar application in their online organizer. Now, I can't find anything on their own website but there is a special page with some demo-movies. I didn't have time to check them out yet (Hey, I gotta work you know...) but it all looks very promising. Perhaps I will even step off Google Calendar in favour of Backpack's one. Also, in my own Backpack, I can't find a link, hint or clue to where this calendar might be. All in all, a very promising step in Backpack's world. Now all we need is a more intuitive context-driven filter mechanism and we are really set to go with GTD Backpack-stylee

Update: The calendar is available in my Backpack. I will look into it some more and report back!

What's The Next Action mentioned in a croatian magazine

I received an email from Mirko Zorz the other day. He is the editor a contributor of a croatian magazine called Mreza ("Net in English") and he writes the following:

"Hello,

I've been an avid reader of "What's the next action" for a while now. As a GTD enthusiast I wrote an article for the leading Croatian magazine for IT professionals "Mreza" ("Net" in English) and one of the websites I recommended to the readers was naturally yours. I'm sending you a scan of the article. I suppose you don't understand Croatian but I'd thought you'd enjoy seeing your website mentioned."

Indeed, I don't understand a word of the scan he sent me. Mirko asked me to not put the scan online due to copyright reasons. (Update: I removed the link to a found scan of the article on request of Mirko)

Mirko, perhaps you can tell us some more in the comments what you write about this blog? Or even better, would you consider putting your article in english on this blog? Let us know!
